A sun-sign horoscope divides the sky twelve ways and stops. KP keeps going — each sign into 27 nakshatras, each nakshatra into sub-divisions ruled by a different planet. The sub-lord, a slice a few arc minutes wide, is where a KP reading is actually made.

Krishnamurti Paddhati is a streamlined branch of Vedic astrology developed by K.S. Krishnamurti in the 1950s. Its central move is refusing to stop at the sign. Where a sun-sign column speaks to one twelfth of everyone alive, KP narrows each interpretation to the sub-lord of a planet's nakshatra — a position accurate to a few arc minutes.

The practical consequence is that the reading actually moves. Because the sub-lord changes as the planets travel, a KP reading shifts meaningfully from one day to the next, and it is anchored to your chart rather than to a birthday range.

SkyWiser computes the current transits against your natal chart each morning and writes the day in genuine KP voice: what the sky is doing now, how it touches your personal Vimshottari dasha period, what themes are worth holding lightly today.

Privacy

A journal nobody can read but you.

Most apps in this category ask for your birth date, your birth time, your birth city, and your diary, then store all four on their own servers. SkyWiser is built so that it cannot.

Your journal
Encrypted on your device and stored in your own iCloud private database. We hold no key and no copy. We cannot read it, and we cannot recover it for you.
Your birth details
Entered on your device, and the chart is calculated there. Your birth date, time and place are never sent to SkyWiser's servers. Turning the birthplace you type into coordinates uses Apple's geocoding service — that one lookup is the only time it leaves your phone.
Your readings
Written by Anthropic's Claude from derived chart geometry — planetary positions, dasha context, and the mood you picked. No name, no birth date, no birth time, no birth place, no device location.
What we store
Your Sign in with Apple identifier, your subscription status, and a cached copy of the readings we generated for you. No name, no email address — Apple never tells us either one.
What we don't do
No ads. No third-party trackers or analytics SDKs. No selling your data, to anyone, ever.
